What an emergency vet costs

Across the 247 price lists we've read that show it, an out-of-hours consultation typically costs £180, and most are between £125.50 and £236. Treatment, tests and medicines are charged on top.

Out-of-hours services keep vets and nurses on duty overnight and at weekends, often for a large area, which is why they cost more. Out-of-hours costs explained.
