Who we are

Local Vet Prices is run by Resolute Ventures Group Ltd (company number 17005310, Hyde Park House, Cartwright Street, Hyde, SK14 4EH), which is the data controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, number ZC184638. Contact us at hello@localvetprices.co.uk.

What we collect

• Visit statistics. We use Fathom Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. Fathom does not use cookies and does not identify you.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to keep a record of corrections.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Information about vet practices

We publish business information that practices make public themselves, such as their name, address, prices and owner. Where that includes the name of a person, for example a sole trader, we publish only what the practice has published.

Lawful basis and how long we keep it

We rely on legitimate interests: running a useful, secure website and answering messages. We keep emails for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless they relate to a correction, which we keep as part of the record of changes.

Who we share it with

• Cloudflare (website hosting and security).
• Fathom Analytics (visit statistics, without personal data).
• Google (email, for messages sent to us).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
